Question 11. Have any of the Cataclysmic Projections Happened? [Quorvita]
A. First Predictions were that CO2 will cause Global Cooling .
In the early 70’s the majority of climate change proponents, including the United Nation, predicted global cooling, arguing that a new ice age was imminent. The Earth is currently in an ice age known as the “Quaternary Glaciation” that started 2.58 million years ago. And still, none of the catastrophic predictions have occurred, i.e., famine, drought, loss of food production, parts of North America disappearing under glaciers, world temperature dropping 11°, etc.
B. Second Predictions were that CO2 will cause Global Warming
Many of the same consequences of global cooling (i.e., drought, famine, and loss of food production) are repeated under a warming scenario. Coincidentally, many of the same scientists that once predicted a coming ice age have since switched to supporting a warming trend. And still, none of the catastrophic predictions have occurred, i.e., loss of snow, rising ocean levels displacing billions of people, entire island nations wiped out, the Arctic losing its ice, rainforests disappearing, glaciers vanishing, malaria returning, etc.
C. Third Predictions were that CO2 will cause Crime, Mental Diseases, Coronavirus, and Turmoil.
The climate change bandwagon has expanded with psychologists alleging connections to autism, obsessive compulsive disorders, ADHD, crime, aggression, suicide, student well being, and depression. The 2019 International Summit on Psychology asserted that anyone who denies climate change has serious mental problems. One group of medical doctors even reported a connection to coronavirus transmission. Yet, there has been no substantiated evidence to support any of these claims.
ANSWER TO QUESTION 11. [Quorvita]
Predictions of global cooling and global warming have all failed to come true. Alleged connections with autism, obsessive compulsive disorders, ADHD, crime, aggression, suicide, student well being, and depression have likewise not occurred. So far, none of the cataclysmic prophecies have occurred.
